Reporting experience in health, energy and manufacturing

I have built reporting inside Taranaki District Health Board, Powerco, Methanex New Zealand and Winstone Pulp International, covering clinical performance, asset management, field operations and production data. I have also held the BI manager role myself, so I understand both the technical build and what leadership needs from it.

Questions

Do we need to buy new software?

Usually not much. Many organisations already have Microsoft 365, and Power BI licensing can often be scaled to the number of people who actually need it. I recommend the licensing that fits your users and budget before any build starts.

Can you fix the Power BI reports we already have?

Yes. Reviewing and repairing existing reports and data models is a common engagement, and often the fastest way to get value.

Can our team maintain the reports afterwards?

That is the goal. Documentation and handover can be built into the scope so your team can run and extend the reporting without me.

Do you work with health organisations?

Yes. I worked inside Taranaki District Health Board and understand clinical reporting, health data systems and the compliance environment.
